With investigations into History of the Ming Dynasty and the inner proofs in Jin Ping Mei,this paper points out that Meng Yu-lou was not the wife of a merchant but the wife of a government official,and that her husband was Zhejiang s magistrate Li Tian-chong,who was Hu Zong-xian s predecessor and was beheaded together with governor Zhang Jing.
本文根据《明史》及《金瓶梅》中的内证,指出孟玉楼不是商妇,而是官妇,她的丈夫就是胡宗宪的前任,和总督张经同日被斩的浙江巡抚李天宠,以对盛先生的观点作一个回应。
