premolar residual crowns from 40 patients,which had been restored by using of pivot core casting crown after root canal therapy,had been reported in this paper.

Methods:336 teeth from 126 patients were respectively restored by Ni-Cr alloy, precious metal and castable all ceramic crowns/bridges.

In this paper,the research status of ceramic mold casting and its development direction in the 21st century were summarized mainly from such aspects as the manufacture and processing of the master-mould,hydrolysis of TEOS and molding technology.
