患者仰卧,显露出全腹,检查者观察其腹部外形,可发现特殊的局限性腹壁膨隆或肿物。其为位置不定的鼓胀现象,大小不一,长短不等。有的为局部鼓包,有的具肠管外形。触之表面光滑、质软、囊感。叩诊多呈鼓音,此即肠形。肠形上有时可见不规则的波动,有的间或出现,有的此起彼伏,即肠蠕动波。
