Numerical simulation of interaction of viscous wave fields with a semi-submersible platform

As development of offshore oil and gas resources in China, it is believed that deeper researches in semi-submersible platform Fin are needed in the future.

Based on a numerical example,key steps of Taut-wire mooring systems design,such as dynamic analysis of mooring lines,calculation of moored float motions and verification of special moors investigated by computations,the result shows that the feasibility and effectiveness of adopting Taut-wire mooring systems for deepwater semi-submersible platforms orientation are verified.
