This paper mainly studied the modeling and simulation of VSC-HVDC based on Real-Time Digital Simulator, which include the NPC(three-level neutral point diode-clamped converter) VSC independent control strategy of active and reactive power in the condition of inversion and rectification, provided the transient control strategy when VSC is connected with passive network based on this.
