In this paper we compared the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm with the back propagation algorithm and the ge- netic algorithm,then we discussed about the theory of PSO,and we used these algorithms to train a muhi-layer artificial,neural net- work(ANN)model of vehicle fault diagnosis with few samples and tested the effect of these three different ANN.
