又称“胸腺依赖性淋巴细胞”,源于胸腺的淋巴细胞,简称“T细胞”,是鸟类和哺乳类动物由胸腺衍生的淋巴细胞。分布于外周淋巴组织的胸腺依赖区,并通过淋巴管、外周血和组织液等进行再循环。约占血液中淋巴细胞的70%,寿命较长。参与细胞免疫应答,也可影响体液免疫。按其在免疫应答中之功能的不同,可将T细胞分为若干亚群:①辅助性T细胞;协助T细胞及B细胞识别抗原发生免疫应答;②抑制性T细胞;具有抑制细胞免疫和体液免疫的功能;③效应T细胞;参与细胞性免疫(迟发型超敏反应),具有释放淋巴因子的功能;杀伤性T细胞具有杀伤靶细胞的功能。
