The aromatic substances of Syzygium samarangense were prepared by simultaneous distilled extraction method.
采用同时蒸馏萃取方法提取莲雾香气成分,经气相色谱-质谱联机分析,结果表明:莲雾的主要香气成分为3-蒈烯、2-乙基-1-己醇、石竹烯、异松油烯、松油醇、α-水芹烯、对伞花烃、4-蒈烯、α-蒎烯、己醛等。

采后莲雾在贮藏期间失水严重,硬度迅速下降;呼吸速率先降后升;果肉细胞膜透性在采后初期急剧上升;果实的可溶性固形物、蛋白质和VC的含量一直呈下降趋势,室温贮藏4d后莲雾的商业品质迅速下降。

台湾先期建成的人工港。位于台湾本岛花莲市东北部。港区东向太平洋,西接东台纵谷北口平原,其间仅有海拔108米的美仑高地,美仑溪绕行高地西南入海。自溪口向东北沿海岸约1500米处有花莲港西防波堤东伸，与以东的东防波堤南端相对,构成人工港湾,自北至西南伸延，水域纵深约1.5公里,以东防波堤与太平洋分隔为内、外港。台湾光复后，虽经维修，已不堪发展需要。1959年实行扩建计划,主要工程有：扩建水域面积9.6万平方米(原内港面积为17万平方米),建造深水码头320米，浅水码头200米等。 1978年起进行中的第四期工程计划新建东西防波堤及码头等。港口主要作业区皆在港湾西岸。1990年装货量309万吨、卸货量209万吨，共518万吨,次于后起的台中港。因受东台纵谷西坡中央山脉限制，主要腹地范围仅及苏澳以南花莲、台东两县界内，纵谷地带经济尚无较大发展。花莲港与花莲市美仑区东西相连，铁路沿港口东岸分向南北穿绕市区，与北回铁路南下干线相接,至花莲站4公里。自花莲港北至苏澳港海程50海里，基隆港110海里,南至台东港80海里。花莲港虽是东台湾第一要港，但在省内外航运活动上远不如北部的基隆、南部的高雄、西部的台中3港。
