中国最大的钼企业，位于陕西省华县。金堆城钼矿属细脉浸染型矿床,矿体露出地表,品位比较稳定，除钼外还有铜、铼等伴生金属，是世界上特大型钼矿床之一。1958年开始建设,1966年10月正式投产;1970年、1973年和1981年又进行三次扩建，成为中国最大有色金属露天矿和选矿厂。所产钼精矿除供应国内市场外，还远销美、英、联邦德国和瑞士等国。
