Following the quantitative analysis of agrometeorological disasters risk and policy-guided agricultural insurance needs in Zhejiang Province,the agrometeorological disasters claiming index insurance was designed based on the advantage of area yield crop insurance and weather index insurance.

保险理赔是指保险人依据海上保险合同或有关法律法规的规定，受理被保险人提出的海上保险赔偿请求，进行查勘、定损、理算和实行赔偿的业务活动，是保险法律制度中十分重要的一环，是保险人履行其义务的主要形式。为了使被保险人尽快获得经济补偿，保险人应积极主动地作好理赔工作。理赔遵循以海上保险合同为依据、遵守国际惯例和有关国际公约、及时和合理作出赔偿的原则。海上保险的理赔一般是从接受出险通知开始，经过查勘、检验或委托检验、核实案情、理算赔偿金额和支付赔偿六个阶段。根据我国《海商法》规定，“保险事故发生后，保险人向被保险人支付保险赔偿前，可以要求被保险人提供与确认保险事故性质和损失程度有关的证明和资料。”
