In this paper studied is the relationship between overseas mergers and acquisitions and financial structure of 42 countries in the period of 1991-2006 and the results show that financial structure has sizeable positive effects on overseas mergers and acquisitions value and quantity,hence,optimizing our financial structure will promote the smooth realization of international expansion strategy.
