性质:(一)stoma  植物气生部分的表皮小孔,用以进行气体交换。气孔是光合气体交换和在蒸腾作用中逸散水蒸气的主要途径。每个气孔被一对保卫细胞包围着。通过细胞膨胀改变细胞的形态,从而控制着气孔小孔径的大小。当保卫细胞膨胀低的时间,这两个细胞紧紧贴在一起,小孔就关闭了;而膨胀高的时间,小孔就张开。膨胀的变化,是由钾浓度变化引起的渗透反应,细胞内的水分进出的结果。(二)blow-hole  材料表层或内部由于气泡产生的洞穴。如焊接过程中,熔池金属中的气体在金属冷却以前未能来得及逸出,而在焊缝金属中所形成的气孔及存在于焊缝表面的气孔。可以是单个的或密集的,或是极小的圆气孔,也可以是较大的条状气孔,甚至可形成贯穿形大气孔。单个的小气孔对材料的力学性能影响不大,密集的或大个气孔则会减小截面,降低材料的力学性能,特别是韧性。分布于材料表面如气孔也对材料表面性能有一定影响。
