供热管道的总称。热力网是因集中供热而形成的供热管道的集合。它是热电厂和中央锅炉房的配套系统。热力网按载热工质种类可分为蒸汽热网和水热网；按载热工质本身是否被利用又可分为开式热网和闭式热网。因生产用户常要求蒸汽直接参与生产过程，故蒸汽热网大多是开式的。水热网则有开式和闭式之分。当水热网对用户供应生产和生活用水时为开式；只供应采暖和通风热负荷时为闭式。供热管道可采用地上敷设（架空管道）或地下敷设(地下管道)。城区多采用地下敷设，工业区可考虑地上敷设。供热管道须考虑保温、热膨胀补偿、运行检修便利和防腐等问题。
