[1957年调整贷款利率]1957年11月国务院同意并批转中国人民银行《关于调整现行贷款利率的报告》。《报告》说，现行国营工业贷款利率是月息4.8厘，国营商业贷款是月息6厘，今后统一为月息6厘;农贷利率仍为对生产合作社的4.8厘，对社员及个体农民的7 .2厘，对贫农合作基金的4厘不变。对工业合作社的贷款利率由月息4.8厘调整到6厘;信用社转存银行和银行对信用社的贷款利率，月息5 .1厘，条件较好的信用社向银行储存一年以上的定期存款，月息6.6厘;临时合营工业贷款利率月息6.9厘，对合营商业贷款利率为月息8.1厘，改为视同国营工商业，月息6厘;末实行定股定息的合营工商业按月息7.2厘，个体劳动者、独立小商贩也按原订月息7 .2厘。
