菲律宾政党。1972年 9月21日菲律宾总统F.E.马科斯宣布全国实行军事管制，停止实施宪法，停止议会活动。原有各政党陷于瘫痪。1978年根据1973年新宪法和1976年宪法修正案举行临时国民议会选举。选举前，马科斯总统于1978年2月以前执政党国民党主席身份,召集国民党中央委员会，决定以原国民党的多数为基础，吸收原反对党自由党的一部分和其他拥护总统政策的人士组成新党,称"新社会运动",马科斯兼任新党主席。
"新社会运动"以马科斯的"新社会"思想为其宗旨,目的在于"改善贫民生活"和"缩短贫富差距",方法是进行和平的"民主革命"；这种革命来自中央和上层，既反对共产党等左派力量，也反对极右的"特权阶层"。
"新社会运动"在政府支持下，在1978年临时国民议会选举中获得议会165席中的143席。1984年有71个省长和69个副省长为该组织成员。在国民议会的 200个席位中占有130席。主席马科斯,总书记何塞·罗纽。1986年，由于严重的政治和经济危机，菲律宾爆发二月反独裁民主运动。马科斯被迫下台逃亡国外，新社会运动作为政党也随之从政治舞台上消失，但其中不少忠于马科斯的成员加入反对C.阿基诺新政府的反对派行列，仍拥有一定的社会影响。
