Research on pedestal looseness fault of multi-disc over-hung rotor system

With FEM used to simulate the rotor system on which the looseness fault is occurring,the fault characteristics are obtained as follows.

Through setting up a test rig to simulate pedestal looseness faults,collected vibration signals with looseness faults were analyzed by reassigned wavelet scalograms and waterfall diagrams.

According to the theoretical analysis of the axial piston pump originating in loose slipper fault,the vibration acceleration signals of the case and outleaking oil temperature signals were elected as the monitoring parameters.

The present paper summarizes the experiences and methods in dealing with those motor vibration troubles in combination with the overall process of checking and repairing a main drive motor vibration trouble in the mill.

The reason, detriment, inspection and prevention of common vibration troubles of turning machinery have been presented in the paper, which can be taken as the reference for the people of equipment installing, operating or managing, etc.
