性状描述:白色细结晶性粉末。熔点113.5℃。易溶于水;醇;极难溶于醚,久贮变淡灰黄色,易潮解。

生产方法:将225g草酰琥珀酸三乙酯与600ml浓盐酸混合,放置过液。蒸馏浓缩至140℃,剩余物冷却结晶,得α-酮基戊二酸110-112g,收率92-93%。

用途:测定氨基转换酶及脱氢酶的底物,测定肝功能的配套试剂,也用作有机合成中间体。
