The paper,considering actual practices,explains the application of hot-water cycling temperature control devices in rubber processing,which is superior to the traditional forced cooling,can effectively promote the efficiency of internal mixers and cold feed extruders and is a valuable processing method worth promoting.

Directing against problems concerning the rate of putting steam air-heater or hot air circulating facility into service is lower than 10%,even being left unused for a long-term,the feasibility of abolishing said facilities has been analysed.
