| 刘元 中国元代雕塑家。道士。字秉元。生卒年不详，活跃于13世纪末～14世纪初。蓟州宝坻（今天津宝坻）人。曾任昭文馆大学士、正奉大夫、秘书卿。早年随杞道录学习泥塑、铸像、夹纻脱胎等雕塑技艺，后又随阿尼哥学习塑造“西天梵相”（喇嘛教样式佛像），所作佛像，神思妙合，时人以为绝艺，深得元世祖、元仁宗之器重，有非有旨不许为他人造神像之规定。他曾在上都、大都等地的寺观雕塑了大量佛道造像，但今无可信作品传世。 |
