Numerical simulation of characteristic points reflective pressure on the inner surface of the explosion chamber

Through the examination of pieces of distillation column explosion,measurement of column wall and the analysis of working condition of the distillation column,this article reaches the conclusion that the explosion comes at a time when the wall of the column is thinning sharply,which is cause by the abrasion,corrosion and cavitations.

Further metaUographic analysis was carried out on the fracture below the thermocouple of the middle section of Pingyin exploded urea reactor,which indicated that stress corrosion cracks existed in every layer below the thermocouple before the urea reactor explosion.
