| 桤木 Alnus 桦木科桤木属植物的通称。又称赤杨。共40余种，分布于亚洲、非洲、欧洲及北美洲。中国有7种1变种，分布于东北、华北 、华东 、华南 、华中及西南 。材质轻软 ，为水工、坑木、建筑等用材；树皮、果实提制栲胶；叶作饲料或沤肥；根系发达，耐水湿、具根瘤，是护岸固堤、改良土壤的树种，也是优良的用材树种和薪炭材树种。桤木为落叶乔木或灌木。单叶互生 ，具叶柄 ， 叶缘锯齿或浅裂 ，稀全缘 ，托叶早落。花单性，雌雄同株。总状或圆锥状花序。果序球果状，每个果苞内有2枚小坚果。桤木喜光，幼树稍耐荫 。对水湿和肥力要求较高。萌芽力强，生长迅速。根具根瘤菌，有改良土壤的作用 。种子极小 ，可用条播或撒播 。一年生苗高1米可出圃造林。因有固氮能力宜选作混交树种。 |
