The result shows that,on normal ring spinning frame,using left diagonal yarn path can reduce yarn hairiness,enhance yarn strength,improve yarn evenness and lower yarn defects evidently than using conventional yarn path;nevertheless,on compact spinning frame,yarn quality is not sensitive to the change of yarn path.
