eon』{Ceng残积层(e luvium)地表岩、矿石风化后残留在原地的堆积物。现代残积物分布于地表,第四纪的残积物常被后期其他成因类型的沉积物所覆盖残积物的堆积状态和厚度变化比较大,不具层理。其结构形态随风化作用方式和固化强度而异,机械风化作用残积物主要由母岩机械破碎后的角砾和碎屑组成,化学风化作用形成的残积物除角砾、碎屑外主要为残积土;角砾、碎屑无分选性,多具棱角状、其块、粒度大小不均,分布杂乱,整体结构松散。在潮湿气候条件下,发育完全并保存完整的残积物剖面,底部为角砾、碎屑,上部为风化土以角砾、碎屑为主的残积层构成透水层,以风化土壤为主的残积层则成隔水层。残积层机械强度低,且在不同部位差异较大。残积层分布于露天采场边坡时,易使边坡滑塌;作为建筑物地基时,如墙体基础未挖穿残积层,则易引起不均匀的沉陷而使建筑物开裂、甚至倒塌。 (李远鄂陈国洗)
