The results of test have shown that increase of confining pressure obviously strengthens plasticity and strain hardening property of frozen sandy soil．With increase of confining pres-sure，the ultimate deviator stress strength and axial failure strain gradually increase；With de-crease of temperature，the ultimate deviator stress.
随着围压的增大，冻结砂土的极限偏应力强度和轴向破坏应变增大，随着温度的降低，极限偏应力强度增加，而轴向破坏应变减小，但是当围压为零时，轴向破坏应变不随温度变化。
