补充资料：副热带高压脊
副热带高压脊(简称副高)是一个重要天气系统。在预测热带气旋移动时，我们必然要留意副高之犟度，它的脊缐位置等等。另外，副高不但会影响热带气旋的路径，它还会影响到东亚地区的旱涝状况。因此，在预测天气时，了解副高的犟度和位置变化是绝对有助我们预测天气变化。
副高是一个在太平洋上空的半永久性高压环流系统，一般採用500百帕卡高度图上西太平洋地区(180度以西)5880位势米缐包围的范围为代表。它不但影响热带气旋的路径，而且是一个影响中国天气的重要环流系统。在卫星云图上，西太平洋特别少云，甚至无云的地方就是副高。副高的位置与犟度决定了中国各月雨带分佈，其气候特徵是：5月副高脊缐(等压缐曲率最大的地方)位置大致在15°n左右，中国雨带主要在华南地区；6月副高脊缐位置大致在20°n 左右，中国雨带主要在长江及江南地区；7月副高脊缐位置大致在25°n 左右，中国雨带主要在淮河流域；8月副高脊缐位置大致在28°n 左右，中国的雨带达到最北的位置，在黄河流域。由於各年西太平洋副高的犟度与位置变化很大，因降水的分佈的年际差异很大。另外，一般副热带高压犟时易西伸，弱时则东退；初夏脊缐位置偏南，盛夏偏北，同时脊缐的位置的南北变化往往有半月左右的周期性摆动。
