【游离基清除剂】(radicalscavenger)亦称“游离基捕捉剂”。能有效地同游离基作用而使其失去活性的试剂。是游离基聚合反应的有效阻聚剂。可分为两类：（1）游离基型，如2，2-二苯基-1-三硝基苯肼基（DPPH）是稳定的游离基，不能引发单体，但能有效地与活性游离基结合；（2）分子型。苯醌能与游离基反应，生成稳定的游离基，最后双基终止。
