In order to study the distribution of nickel in soils and the bio-concentration of edible part in crops, 106 topsoil samples and 43 crop samples (edible part of crops) were collected from 4 functional agriculture areas in Leizhou Peninsula, South China, nickel in the samples were determined by atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS), and the data were analyzed for a healthy risk assessment.
