Based on the paper" Limitation of Gini coefficient with its adjustment" wriiten by Cang yu-quan,this paper points out some shortcomings of the adjustment formula for Gini coefficient and make some suggestions to sole these problems.

In most cases,the dynamic settlements of international engineering projects are conducted by value adjusting formula which is specifically designated in the agreement by the concerning parties.

This paper has discussed and analyzed the construction material price difference adjusting formula,and described that the formula is suitable for generalization and application in the engineering construction.

Based on the definition in FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction, the price adjustment formula and relevant parameters involved in are further explained and detailed in the paper and suggestion regarding the formulae to be adopted in the execution of international engineering contracts is given accordingly.
