| 铅玻璃 lead glass 含氧化铅的玻璃。包括铅晶质玻璃、火石类光学玻璃、防辐射玻璃、低熔玻璃、延迟线玻璃、高折射微珠玻璃等。铅玻璃的组成式为：RmOn-PbO-SiO2(B2O3)。式中SiO2（B2O3），即氧化硅（氧化硼），称网络形成物，是构成玻璃网络结构的基本单元。RmOn，代表碱、碱土、稀土金属的金属氧化物，是使玻璃网络结构发生变化、达到调整特性的网络修改物。PbO，即氧化铅，为特征成分，赋予玻璃基本特性。随PbO含量的增加，玻璃的密度、折射率、色散、介电常数、对X射线和γ射线吸收系数等性能指标值增加；其硬度、高温粘度、软化温度、化学稳定性等指标值降低；致使玻璃成型料性变长、着色剂色彩鲜艳、表面光泽增加、敲击声清脆。 中国早在战国时期即有铅玻璃制品。17世纪后半叶，英国制出铅晶质玻璃艺术器皿。后来广泛用于制造光学仪器、艺术器皿和用作防辐射玻璃等。 |
