性质:主要指悬浮在液体中的固体颗粒的连续沉降。产生基本上澄清液相的称做澄清(defecation;clarification)。使悬浮的固体颗粒变为稠密的淤浆的称做增稠(thickening)。使不同大小、形状或密度的固体颗粒分为若干部分的称做分粒或分级(classification)。应用于化学、冶金、食品、制糖等工业。
