心脏左房室口,口径略小,周围的纤维环上附有二片略呈三角形的瓣膜,故称二尖瓣。瓣膜的游离缘借腱索,乳头肌和肉柱等与左心室肌相连。当心室收缩时,二尖瓣关闭,阻止血液流回左心房;当左心室舒张时,二尖瓣开放,血液从左心房流入左心室。二尖瓣口狭窄和瓣膜关闭不全时,则可引起血流动力学的改变。
