衡机的种类较多，有调整式，火花式、闪频式、电磁式等。 静不平衡与动不平衡组合一般长径比大于1的转子工作时振动过大，几乎都同时存在静不平衡与动不平衡.表现为当转子旋转时一端振动较剧烈，另端较轻。找正的方法与动平衡找正相似，除在两平面上加配重，使其产生的新力偶与动不平衡力偶抵消外，再将静不平衡力按与两平面距离的比例分解成两重块，分别加于此两平面相对方向上，并使两质径积之和等于静不平衡重的质径积，就可达到完全平衡。 平衡精度转子经平衡找正后所达到的平衡程度，常以质径积(m。)，即不平衡的量来表示。事实上转子总会存在不平衡剩余量，对转子运转造成有害的形响。对于不同的转动设备，视其转子的质量和转速以及精密程度，规定其最大允许不平衡量(即许用不平衡t)的数值，如以U表示，则U一m:或。~U/m。此处。称为许用偏心距，其物理概念为转子单位质量的许用不平衡量。许用不平衡量的规定，原则上是使不平衡离心力小于转子自身重力，避免转子运转时产生的不平衡离心力过大，导致轴承、主轴乃至整台设备的损坏.根据对不平衡离心力大小的规定，即可得到。=f(n2)的关系式，按平衡精度等级绘制成如图4示出的许用偏心距的图线，供计算时参考。
