乡村音乐 country music 美国乡村歌曲。起源于英国移民带来的古老民歌和民谣,后来加进了黑人音乐、爵士乐、拉丁美洲的民间音乐因素,成了一种风格独特的流行音乐体裁。乡村音乐以歌唱为主,辅助以小提琴、班卓琴和吉他等乐器的伴奏。演唱时唱说结合,叙事性很强,并带有一定的即兴性。音乐以五声音阶为主,旋律优美,节奏简单,有浓厚的民谣特点。经过多年的发展后,乡村音乐形成了多种不同的风格,如蓝草小伙子演唱小组创立的蓝草音乐;起源于美国西南部的西部摇曳和德克萨斯花花公子及进步乡村乐等。20世纪50年代以后,美国先后成立了美国乡村音乐协会和美国乡村音乐基金会,并建立了博物馆 、图书馆、研究机关,还出版各种杂志、刊物。1970年美国总统和40位州长联合确认了每年10月为乡村音乐月。 |
