补充资料：王益友(1879～1945)
北方昆、弋演员，昆曲教师，工武生。字子英。河北省玉田县人。幼年在益和科班学艺，出科后随师徐廷璧到北京搭昆、弋班演出。功夫深厚，技艺精熟，能戏甚多，昆、弋两腔中生、旦、净、丑各行脚色无不精通。擅演《夜奔》、《夜巡》、《打虎》、《探庄》、《蜈蚣岭》等剧,兼擅《芦花荡》、《通天犀》等武净戏。演《夜奔》的林冲，着厚底靴，唱北曲〔新水令〕，边歌边舞，一气呵成，为京剧著名武生杨小楼所钦佩。中年以后在河北高阳、安新一带教戏授徒，北昆著名演员韩世昌、白云生、候永奎等都受过他的教益。1917年集合昆、弋老艺人陶显庭、郝振基、侯益隆等，组成荣庆社在北京演出，影响很大。晚年在京、津各曲社教授昆曲。
