Based on the citation data of CSSCI from 1998 to 2007,this article screens out the researchers in the library and information science field whose h indices are above 10 in 2006 to make a statistical analysis of the low citation articles written by these researchers who have relatively high academic influence in order to find out some valuable information.

Use the function of "Cited Reference Search" in Web of Science,a new method is introduced in this paper to obtain the co-citation matrix of scientific journals indexed in JCR and classified then based on the matrix.
