【票据转让】将未到期的票据转让给他人，作为支付手段或流通手段用于偿还债务或购买商品，或作为融资工具提请银行贴现的行为。票据转让是票据流通的基础。票据转让有单纯交付和背书转让两种方法。单纯交付是票据持有人不作任何记载，自愿把票据交付他人，以转让票据权利的行为。它只适用于无记名票据和空白背书票据。在中国，汇票不得以单纯交付方式转让，不记名本票和支票则可以单纯交付方式转让。背书转让是以背书方式转让票据权利的行为。在背书转让中，背书人转出票据以后的所有被背书人称为后手;被背书人得到票据时，在票据上背书的所有背书人及出票人称为前手。票据被拒付时，后手对其前手有追索权，前手对其后手有偿还票款责任。背书转让每一次都有记载，持票人在最终得不到付款时，可依背书的记载向其前手以及以前的所有背书人行使追索权;付款人也得依背书的连续来确认持票人是否合法享有票据权利，从而使票据转让中当事人的合法权利受到保障。票据转让可使未到期的票据代替货币流通。
