性质:活性污泥法废水处理厂中发生的一种现象,表现为污泥占有容积过大,且不易沉降。污泥膨胀可分两类:(1)丝状体膨胀,是由于大量丝状细菌(特别是球衣细菌)在污泥内繁殖,使泥块松散,密度降低所致,真菌的繁殖也会引起污泥膨胀;(2)非丝状体膨胀,是由于活性污泥生物平衡遭破坏,污泥、食料和供氧三要素发生紊乱变化所致。抑制污泥膨胀的措施有:加强曝气,保持曝气池内溶解氧不低于1~2mg/L;投加氮化合物,调整水中碳、氮比;在回流污泥中加氯,以消除丝状细菌;以及调节pH值(pH=6~8)及温度(<25℃)等。
