The problem of achieving robust diagonal dominance of transfer function matrices with structured uncertainty is discussed in this paper.

This paper, using complex function theory,proves the general conclusion that the systemmust be robust stable if its perturbed system is robust diagonal dominance.

With the robust precompensator, which is designed with this method, the perturbation systems can assume robust diagonal dominance, so that the robust stability of the systems is ensured.

Based on the characters of optimal design for the composite grid-stiffened structures(AGS),such as multi-loading cases,multi-constraints,and mixed discrete continuous design variables,etc,a robust optimization design method using a hybrid genetic algorithm provided by the authors has been proposed for the advanced grid composite cylindrical shell with initial-imperfect.
