The article puts forward that the core of petroleum strategy is to set up diversified petroleum sustainable supply system, which should consist of domestic petroleum exploration, development and supply system, foreign petroleum supply system and petroleum strategic reserves system.

Based on the analyses the authors suggested that its sustainable supply would contribute promotion of our country's economy healthy development.
