根据电气化铁路机车的运行特点,从空气动力学、电工学和现代数学等方面对车顶绝缘子进行了研究分析,阐述了一种车顶绝缘子的新型结构设计发明专利:通过建立绝缘体系,解决了车顶绝缘子界面的绝缘可靠性和粘合强度可靠性难题;外绝缘套采用具有较大倾斜角度和反面凸缘加强的伞裙套,提高了耐污染绝缘水平、抗风摆强度和抗变形、撕裂强度;端部附件采用具有内齿的倒锥形锁套将芯棒压装锁紧以后有极高的连接强度且永无松动脱落之患。

电力机车车顶用柱式复合绝缘子风洞试验分析结果表明:电力机车在不同的运行速度下,其车顶用柱式复合绝缘子的主体挠度形变量及伞裙变形角度不同,机车时速越快,主体挠度形变量及伞裙变形角度就越大,但所有产品挠度形变量均小于2mm,伞裙变形均在3mm范围内,伞裙变形角度均小于2°,停风后,伞裙恢复均在1mm以内。
