Taking the planning and design of Wanlvyuan Garden in Haikou as an example, the paper discusses how to design ecologically the citylandscape, including building "ecological corridor" to preserve and increase biological species and "ecological bridge " to link separated areas ofplants, as well as to utilize solar and wind energy.
