The paper introduces a new ammunition distribution system developed by US Army in recent years,that is container roll-in/out platformsystem,describes its systemstructure,distribution capacityand distribution process and points out some enlightenment for us in the construction ofammunition distribution systemofour army.

The structural and functional characteristics of the containerizing equipment for airborne materials-the container, container salver and vehicle-borne conveyance equipment, are introduced in the paper.

In order to implement the flow of ammunition from overland travel to air transportation to air drop to overland travel again and thereby speed up the process of ammunition supply,this research integrated the palletized loading system with airdrop supply system.

In this paper, improving the spatial utilizing rate of pallet and reducing the cost of the pallet package, a study of pallet package of rigid (or quasi-rigid) rectangular products, has been made.
