Yuanmingyuan relic park is a large-scale garden of imperial house in a period of great prosperity of the Qing Dynasty, which is praised as a typical example of all gardening arts, owing to the artic workmanship of the garden and architecture.

| 曲江池 中国唐代宫苑。在唐长安城东南隅。其地本秦汉宜春苑，隋建都之初，因此处地高不便建坊，凿芙蓉池，为芙蓉园。唐代因水流屈曲，称曲江池，但苑仍名芙蓉园。园中以水景为主，岸线曲折，可以荡舟，池中种荷花。唐时游人甚多，以中和(二月初一)、上巳(三月初三)日园中最为热闹。文宗太和九年(835)曾发左右神策军疏治曲江，修紫云楼、彩霞亭。不少官衙于曲江设置船舫。当时进士放榜后常在此开宴。昭宗迁洛阳后 ，水涸池废 。曲江池遗址位于陕西西安南，1957年勘查。经勘测 ，芙蓉园周长约7千米，曲江池位于园西部，处东西两座丘陵之间的低谷中 ，南北1700米 ，东西600米。池南北端皆有河渠连通。 |
