性质:又称吴茱萸碱。黄色片状结晶  (乙醇)。熔点278℃。旋光度+352°(丙酮);旋光度[α]D+440°(氯仿)。溶于丙酮;微溶于乙醇、乙醚、氯仿,几乎不溶于水、石油醚、苯。弱碱性,不易成盐。已生物合成。植物来源为芸香科植物吴茱萸[Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.)Benth.]及同属植物石虎[E. rutaecarpa (Juss.)Benth.var.officinalis (Dode)Huang]的果实。吴茱萸胺是吴茱萸的主要有效成分之一,具有镇痛、降血压及体温上升等药理作用。用作利尿剂和发汗剂。
