Stability analysis of Luohangtan landslide in Gushan hydropower station of Hanjiang and its treatment

Taking 1985 Xintan landslide as a case study,this paper uses the multi-temporal remote sensing images and elevation data and basic geological information,synthetically analyzes the environmental background and calamity effects of Xintan landslide.

According to the geologic background and the engineering geologic characteristics, the geologic model of Xintan landslide is established to analyze the relationship between its stability and its geologic environment in terms of finite element method.

Based on the general principle of DDA,discontinuous deformation analysis,and the engineering geologic characteristics of Xintan landslide,the numerical simulation is carried out by DDA on the movementprocess of Xintan landslide.

Field tests of saturated and unsaturated hydraulic parameters of gravelly soil in Xietan landslide;

Unsaturated seepage analysis and back analysis of permeability coefficient for Xietan landslide in Three Gorges Reservoir area;

The Xietan landslide body can be regarded as an interbedded structure with three permeable layers (slope wash,landslide deposit deposit,and effected zone of the landslide) and two relatively impermeable layers (sliding zone and foundation rock),so it is important to consider the coupling action of seepage and stress in the slide to evaluate the stability of landslide.

The interpreting features and laws of the Baicitan landslide by choosing Quick Bird digital image are discussed.
