停运权(stoppage in trasit),是指卖方已经丧失对货物的控制权，买方无力清偿货款，而货物仍在运输途中时，卖方可以行使此权利，收回货物的占有权，并保留货物，直到买方偿付货款为止。
但也有特殊情况：如取得提单的买方已经将提单通过背书转让给了善意的、支付了对价的第三者，则卖方就丧失了行使停运权的权利。
