消费态度的机能(funetion of eonsump-tion attitude)消费者态度在购买活动中所起的作用。心理学家卡第兹(Katz，D.)认为，态度主要系由心理性的需要而引起的。它具有四种机能:(l)调节机能。帮助消费者理智地调节对外部环境或客体的好恶，指导购买活动，从而取得最大的报偿或最小的惩罚。(2)自我防卫机能。当人们受到来自外界或内部的威胁和忧虑的干扰时，为维护“自我”而产生的行动，如通过购买某种商品以解除自己的某种威胁和忧虑。(3)价值表现机能。通过购物以表现自我的价值观念，从而使内在自我与外部世界取得有机的联系。(4)知识机能。借助于态度来理解客观外部世界，并减少个体的不协调行为。 (傅汉章撰马谋超审)
