把可以反映地震空间分布状态的森下指数进一步应用于地震预报研究中，所得结果表明，在大地震发生前数年，森下指数随网络线度的变化曲线Ｉδ（ｌ）要出现一定的中长期异常变比，但其异常形态随地区不同而可能有一定差异。
