Based on George Steiner\'s fourfold translation motion theory,the thesis makes a tentative endeavor in analyzing the abstract concept of the translator\'s subjectivity through the four moves,namely "trust" "aggression" "incorporation" and "restitution" in the research of the Chinese version of The Joy Luck Club.
本文以乔治·斯坦纳在哲学阐释学基础上提出的翻译四步骤理论为指导,通过分析《喜福会》的中文译本,尝试将译者主体性这个抽象概念分解到“信任”“侵入”“吸收”“补偿”四个具体翻译步骤中,以期对译者主体性如何影响并作用于译本这个问题获得具体的认知,从而肯定译者主体性在翻译过程中的重要作用,并对畅销书《喜福会》的翻译研究有一定的参考价值。
