Along with the development of Chinese economy and the growing national strength,there exist a large number of political and economic terms with Chinese characteristics.

Through analyses and comparisons of the culture-loaded meanings of some typical political words in English and Chinese, the author attempts to explore the phenomenon, types and reasons of misunderstanding, mistranslation and misleading of their implications.
